First President Hired: Dr. Jacqueline Claunch
On Dec. 16, 1997, The Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Dr. Jacqueline Claunch as NVC president, who served in positions as dean and vice president at Richland College. She also taught math and literature, directed admissions and coordinated computer systems.
