Grand Opening 8 October 1999
The grand opening was held on October 8, 1999, with the completion of the Learning Center, now Mountain Laurel Hall, and the College Commons, now Huisache Hall.

First Programs Available
The first programs available at NVC included Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology, Community Health Worker, Pharmacy Technology, Teleservice Technology, Health Administrative Services, Multimedia Technology, and Computer Information Systems.
